Key messages

  • Real-world data from a survey of 218 dermatologists and their adult patients in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK.
  • On average, patients were receiving 1.9 therapies, and had previously received 1.6 treatment lines.
  • First-line treatment mostly relied on corticosteroids across AA severity categories.
  • Use of conventional immunosuppressants, JAKi, and topical immunotherapy was more common in severe AA after treatment failure.
  • Current treatment patterns by physician-defined AA were generally similar across countries.
