Key messages

Real-world data from a survey of 218 dermatologists and their adult patients in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK.
On average, patients were receiving 1.9 therapies, and had previously received 1.6 treatment lines.
First-line treatment mostly relied on corticosteroids across AA severity categories.
Use of conventional immunosuppressants, JAKi, and topical immunotherapy was more common in severe AA after treatment failure.
Current treatment patterns by physician-defined AA were generally similar across countries.
