Key messages
- This was a retrospective cohort study using claims data from 750 people with PPP.
- Most patients with newly diagnosed PPP did not receive treatment within 1 month of diagnosis.
- Oral steroid use increased from 5.3% of patients to 18.9% from 1 to 24 months; other treatments had an increasing or stable trend over time.
